Our monthly Exploring Expertise webinars give practitioners the opportunity to hear from leading figures in practice and research on innovative developments and examples of 'best practice' in the family placement sector. Presentations include Q&A sessions to enable attendees to delve deeper into the subject matter and explore connections to their own practice.

Exploring Expertise: Kinship Care Week

8 October 11:30am-1pm | Zoom
Join us for an informative and interactive event exploring good practice in the early identification of prospective kinship carers. Many local authorities work hard to ensure kinship care is prioritised as a potential care plan for a child. But this relies on prospective kinship carers – both here and overseas – being identified early and supported to start the journey of potentially caring for a child and becoming a kinship carer.
