National FASD Awareness Month
September is FASD Awareness Month in the UK. A whole month dedicated to raising awareness of FASD in the UK, as well as celebrating the amazing day-to-day achievements of awesome people with FASD up and down the country. Specifically, 9 September is a time to celebrate International FASD Awareness Day. It is the 9th day of the 9th month, to highlight the importance of avoiding alcohol for the 9 months of pregnancy to help prevent FASD.
